**Sold** Antique Fan Quilt1930 Quilt @
Hand quilted; machine pieced 65" x 75" This antique quilt is a nice looking quilt. The fans are cut from many different cotton fabrics. The backing is a cotton small flower pink print. Backing is made from muslin. The age is unknown. If I had to date it, I would date it older than 1950. Because it was machine pieced, I doubt it was as old as 1930. The fabrics do appear older. From appearances, this has been a well used quilt. Imagine it on someones bed. The front has a stain (see picture), as does the backing. It also has a section that needs repair. There is no history to this quilt, as there is no label. It was purchased several years ago by a local lady that collected quilts. She recently passed away and had many quilts that her husband ask me to sell. This is an attractive quilt that would be a great addition to a quilt collection.
