We now have four of Lori Holt patterns listed. One is her newest - Family Reunion. What a great way to personalize your family reunion. Make this quilt with your family name on it and put it up for auction at the reunion. A great way to put extra cash in your budget for your next family reunion. We also have her ever popular Grandma's Kitchen and Apron Club. It seems like I just cannot keep these on the shelf, they are so popular. Then for the winter months, we have listed Lori's Snowman Quilt. Easy and fun to do. You could easily complete this quilt before it starts getting cold. Kits are ever popular. I have the cutest Christmas kit. The panel was designed by Amy Bradley and produced by Moda Fabrics. It is Howlidays the 12 Days of Christmas. Great for a dog lover or just someone that wants a fun wall quilt to hang for the holidays. We are working towards getting fabric online, too. Keep checking back for new and updated items. Yolo County 2010 Fair Raffle Quilts Get your tickets NOW to win one of these quilts. See the beautiful quilts pictured here? Wouldn't you love to own one. Perhaps you can. For just $1, yes that is right. Just $1, you can purchase a ticket and request which quilt you would like to try for. If your ticket is drawn on Sunday, August 22nd, the drawing will be held. Winner will be notified after fair closes. An even better deal is you can purchase 6 tickets for only $5. Then you can put 2 tickets in for each quilt or put all your tickets in for just one, giving you more chances of winning the one you really want. How ever you want to place your tickets, it is up to you. So how do you get these tickets? They will be on sale at the fair, which will be held August 18-22 in Woodland CA. This fair is one of the few county fairs that have no entry fee. It is a great rural county fair. Lots of livestock, quilts, home arts, rides and, best of all, food. Good fair food. You can also e-mail us for more information at contact@beehivequilts.com. We would be glad to sell you some long distance. The request and the money just has to be to us by August 18th. All proceeds of this sale of raffle tickets goes to Yolo County Food Bank. The theme for these quilts was “SUNNY DAYS AT THE YOLO COUNTY FAIR” and the blocks were made by Yolo County residents. The quilts were pieced by Janet Wheaton, Cindy Brock (http://www.quiltedinlove.com/), and Peggy Robles (http://www.beehivequilts.com/). The quilting on two of the quilts was done by Coline Simmons.
